A thread for reviews & comments on mics & headsets. I couldn't find any good resources or recommendations when I was looking for mine.

I ended up buying the Logitech Clear Chat Pro USB headset. My only complaint is the sound does not play back through the headset -- only the voices. Thus, I rerouted the voice through the main sound and still use my earbud headphones for better sound clarity (don't have a surround system).

I have the mic volume on the PS3 set to Level 2.

My question to you all -- how does it sound on your end? Too loud, too soft? Any background noise or feedback? I fear being the person with the buku feedback in the lobby.

Any comments would be appreciated, since I have no idea whether I made a good purchase or not.

I purchases a blue tooth Motorola mic which was in the PS3 section at Wal-Mart. It seemed that every time I used it, I had to reconfigure it. If I didn't do that it was a MAJOR pain in my ass, AND ears of all fellow gamers.

I purchased it for $40.00 and sold it for $25 mere days after buying it....

I really want a wireless headset, but I will research that further before wasting my money!
